Today i read such a good liar by Sue Wallman . I read until page 19.

In the chapter one we are introduced to our main protagonist named Shannon Jones . Shannon Jones had just been on a boat and has arrived on a island called Ferrari . In this chapter we are told that the reason for Shannon coming to this island is for summer catch up lessons . People on the island seem to be referring to her as Lydia which was quite strange as that is not her name that is used when narrated . This build some speculation that she is hiding her true identity . In this chapter we see that Shannon has some interest in the Harrington family . The house that Shannon is staying in is the house that her mother was killed in . All of these events lead to a build up of speculation to the reason she has come to this island .

In chapter 2 we found out that our main protagonist is not who she claims to be . We find out that her true identity is Shannon Jones but she is disguising herself as her friend Lydia . Lydia (Shannon Jones friend) was meant to go to the island to study math and English . So she could feel confident when she resist her exam . We are not told why Lydia didn’t want to go to this island but it seems that Shannon went to this island with intentions . Shannon intentions are not very clear but i speculate that it has something to do with her mother and the Harrington family , As this is a recurring theme of them being brought up .

That is all the information i have recalled from both chapters i have read . I find this book to be quite intriguing . The book has started off with a slow pace and is slowing building up to the main plot . It does this by giving the reader small bit of information about the main protagonist . I also like how the book has jumped straight into the plot because it leaves me to speculate what the plot is . This all opinionated so it really depends on the reader , so you might have a different perspective on the book .
