This is some of my notes i took from this drop shipping course i have started . I will leave a reference to the video at the bottom of the page .

The new word i have added to my dictionary is solitude . Solitude is (noun) the state of being alone or secluded from others; a peaceful or secluded place.

Question 1

1) This problem only needs one step to solve it . This is dividing 1 by 4 which will give me 1/4 .

* This is the same as question one so i wont need to explain how to solve it .

Question 3

1)The first step to solving this problem is to turn both mixed fractions to improper fraction . I will multiply 2 by 1 . Then i will add 2 and 1 . This leaves me with a the improper fraction 3/2 . Know i will do the same to the next mixed fraction which will leave me with 10/3

2) Next i will multiply both improper fractions together . So i will multiply 3 and 10 which will give me 30 and then i will multiply 2 and 3 which leaves me with 6 . This leaves me with the improper fraction 30/6 . We can simplify this fraction which leaves us with 5 .

Question 4

1) The first thing i need to do is change 2.25 to meters which i can do this by multiply 2.25 with 1000 which leaves me with 2250.

2) Next i have to turn 5 minutes into seconds .I can do this by multiply 5 by 60 .

3) Next i will substitute both numbers into the meters/speed equation which leave me with 7.5 .

Today the new word i am adding to my vocabulary is veracity .Veracity is a noun that refers to the quality or state of being truthful, honest, and accurate. It encompasses the adherence to facts, the absence of deceit or falsehood, and the reliability of information or statements. Veracity implies a commitment to truthfulness and integrity in both speech and action, emphasizing the importance of honesty and reliability in conveying information or representing reality.

Question 1

1)The first step to working this out is to turn the mixed number to a improper fraction ( It is when the denominator is bigger then the numerator) .Multiply 1 by 3 which will give us 3 . Then i add 2 and 3 which is 5 . That then gives us the new numerator . I have now turned this mixed number into a improper fraction .

2)The second step to working out this problem is actually adding both fraction . I will be adding the proper fraction with the improper fraction .I have to change both of the denominator of these 2 fractions . I have to change both of the denominator to 33 since it fits in both 11 and 3 . This means that the numerator will also have to change . So for 7/11 i will multiply the numerator by 3 which is 21 and for 5/3 i will multiply the numerator by 11 which is 55 . Then i will add both new numerator which will be 76 but the denominator will stay as 33 .

4) The last step to solving this problem is turning this improper fraction into a mixed fraction . I need to first find the a number i can multiply to denominator which will give me a number close to numerator . In this case i can multiply 33 by 2 which gives me 66 . Next i need to know how much we need to add to 66 to get to 76 which is 10 . Now i have turned this improper fraction into a mixed number .

The answer will be 2¹⁰⁄₃₃

1)I know that all the angles in a pentagon add up to 540 . So i will add up all the angles and make it equal 540 to make an equation . It will look like this x + 10 + 2X + 10 + x + 10 + x + 20 + 2X = 540 . Next step is to simplify this equation . To do this i will add up all the x together,so i will add x + 2X + x + x + 2X which is leave me with 7X . Then i wil do this for the numbers which will give me 50 . This leaves the equation with 7X + 50 = 540

2)Second step is to solve this equation and find out what x is . I will first have to get rid of the 50 by doing 540 – 50 which will give me 490 . That will leave me with 7X = 490 . The last step is to do 490 divide by 7 which will give me 70 . That leave me with x = 70 .

3)The next step is to solve all of the angles . Which will tell me how much each angles are .

5)Now that i know how much each angles are i can be able to see which angle is the largest angle and i see that it is 150 that is the largest.

Marginalization

The new word i discovered to add to my vocabulary today is Marginalization . The word Marginalization is the act of pushing or excluding someone or a group to the edges or sidelines of society.It happens when people or communities are treated as less important or given fewer opportunities because of certain characteristics like their race, gender, or social status. It can make individuals feel left out, powerless, and unable to fully participate in society.Marginalization is a form of unfair treatment that can lead to inequality and limited access to resources and opportunities.
